“Heeeeey, sexy boyfrieeeend.” Pause. “Whatchu up to? Are you hooome? I’ve been trying to reach you for like… like two minutes.” Hiccup. “I just… just wanted to say I’m sorry. For- for you know, hurting you ‘n stuff. Wanted to make it up to you, but- but ten tequila shots was probably not-” Hiccup. “Not the best choice. ‘Nyway… call me back? Like… tomorrow maybe?”

All You Have To Offer (aka demons au)
“Mmmhm,” Sebastian agreed absentmindedly, looking through the newspaper even if there was nothing interesting to be found. He liked to be on top of things though. Sometimes demons managed to sneak into his territory and cause ruckus, and he always recognized it when he saw news articles describing it. Made it easier to find them and make quick work of the situation. When Hunter hadn’t spoken for a while, Sebastian looked up only to hear the apartment door slam. “Did I say anything wrong?”
Just a Feeling (aka daddy au)
“I… what? In what way?” Sebastian frowned. “Listen, just because I apparently am better at putting together swingsets than you, doesn’t mean I’m the king of everything in the world.” He had no idea what brought this on, why Hunter was even thinking the thought. Hunter was a hardworking man, a responsible father and all around likeable person once you got through to him, and of course Sebastian adored him. What did Sebastian have that made him so great, other than an overblown ego and knowing how to pack a backpack very efficiently? “All joking aside, what the hell do you mean?”
Love and Other Drugs (aka drugs au)
“That is ridiculous, and you know it.” Sebastian frowned at Hunter, not sure if he felt more anger or sadness at the statement. What the hell was he on about? “You can’t… you can’t say things like that. What the hell am I supposed to do without you, huh? You’re the only thing good in my life right now, and you’re acting like you don’t deserve me?” Sebastian instantly shut down Hunter’s attempt at replying. No- no. Hear me out. You can’t say shit like that. Clearly if you think something like that, then you seriously need to work on your self esteem. What the hell?” He realized he was saying all the wrong things, knew he should sympathize more, but the anger had won over the sadness, and he just felt grumpy that Hunter could even think such a thing.
Role Reversal (aka D/s au)
“Um?” Hunter replied slowly, raising an eyebrow. “I… what? Too good for you-? What have I done?” He had never seen any inidication that Sebastian felt insecure in their relationship. In fact, after they got together it had seemed like both of them were practically blossoming, comfortable with their private arrangements and the things that worked for them. Sitting down on the couch next to Sebastian, Hunter reached out and took his hand, squeezing it gently. “Let’s talk about it.”
To Have a Home
“No.” Scott replied instantly, trying to be rational and not just get angry. He knew Alex was insecure, knew very well why, but it still annoyed him that she thought that way. He knew he just needed to get better at telling her what was true though. Starting now. “You can’t measure your worth against my worth. There’s no way you can measure people’s worth in general. We’re both people, we’re both deserving of love, and there’s literally nothing that makes me a better person than you. We both have our flaws and we both have our good sides, and no- no, none of that decides whether or not one person is better than another.” Reaching out to her, Scott cupped her face gently in his hands, trying for a soft smile. “Alex… please… Please, listen to me.”
Somebody Loves You
“Damn right I am,” Harley lamented as she threw herself onto Meg’s bed, shedding her pants and shirt and throwing them on the floor before she crawled under the covers. “I can’t believe I walked three blocks with this hangover just because you’re craving Jimmy Johns.” She rummaged through the bag she had brought with her, handing Meg her sandwich and chips. “You know what that’s called?” Harley said, gesturing to the food Meg started eating. “Love. Which is why I expect it to be returned next Sunday.”
