Samandiriel search high and low, everywhere that he could, but still he did not find the brother he so dearly sought. It had been difficult as he had to keep his grace hidden so that no other angel could inform Naomi of his resurrection. But he kept at it none the less. Nothing was more important than finding Castiel. Finally when his search of all the lands lead to nothing, the angel let his vessel's consciousness forward. He asked his vessel, Vincent, to pray to his brother, to call him there and tell him it was of the highest importance. The man whom Samandiriel inhabited complied immediately and prayed out loud. He closed his eyes and joined his hands as he stood in place speaking:

"I pray in the name of the angel Castiel. My good Angel, Thou comest from heaven; God has sent thee to take care of me. Oh, shelter me under thy wings. Lighten my path, direct my steps. Do not leave me, stay quite near me and defend me against the spirit of evil. But above all come to my help in the last struggle of my life. Now in this time of need, counsel me upon the true path. For I hold the utmost need of our presence." 

After he had finished, the man kept his eyes shut tight awaiting the angel; hoping this had worked. He could feel Samandiriel's strain and just as it tugged and the angel's emotions, the need to find this brother of his tugged at Vincent. He hoped the sincerity behind his prayer would guide the angel to him. It was in a way the only hope of finding Castiel that they had left. It was clear that Samandiriel could not return to heaven with the way things were.
