He had found a good spot with enough distance to not get caught up in the spectacle but to still enjoy the view. The view being a mob of citizens ganging up on a labeled outsider. A debate went on in his head as their screams and shouts rang out, three options presenting themselves to the prince.
1. Join the citizens to kill the outsider and see whether or not they turn on him after. (gain: learn if they can tell the difference between their kind and outsides.)
2. Join the outsider to fight back. (gain: an ally. if he doesn’t turn around and kill them afterwards or they try the same that is.)
And 3. stay where he is and collect information. The gain obvious here.
In the end, however, he didn’t need to decide. After a showy move full of electricity the mob had been taken care of, revealing the fighter.
“A baby?” He asks, half to himself and half to the other as he approaches.
