God on Trial: Awaiting their inevitable deaths at one of the worst concentration camps, a group of Jews make a rabbinical court to decide whether God has gone against the Holy Covenant and if He is the one guilty for their suffering. One of the arguments that the men made could be made up into just one word; why? If the Jews were meant to be His most loyal followers; why put them through this torture? At this point in time I believe it's normal to question God. There is a Blockaltester who is a Jew, but he made the choice to abandon his people in "trade" for his life. He then explains that if God was really there or was angry with the Jews that he would be dead. God would've struck him down for the betrayal. On the other hand, one of the few men that stil lhas faith in God believes that they are being "cleansed" in some sort of way. He uses the example of cutting off a leg or arm to save the whole body. He also says that as a race, this is not the first time they have been taken advantage of. They have been slaves and servants for those more powerful on and off throughout the many years of being developed and if they had not been, they would've just been a race without a home living in the desert. Being enslaved made them who they are, this is just doing the same thing but many decades later. The question is, who is right? We'll obviously never know, but it is something to think about. Also, why would they do this? Why put God on trial? What will that accomplish? Peace of mind maybe or give them someone to blame.
