Catholic nuns are technically godspouses. They're called the brides of Christ for that reason. The Catholic Church considers them married to the Lord when they take their vows. And no, that doesn't mean they're "delusional".

The lot of y'all will be much better off minding your own businesses, in all sincerity. Just because you don't do a thing, doesn't mean other people can't. Just because you personally disagree with a thing, doesn't make it bad or wrong. Especially if it's hurting no one.

And cut the ableism and sanism while you're at it. Learn to live with diversity, differences, and discomfort. Grow up.

Ok question for the witch/pagan side of tumblr. So you know how god-spouses are a thing some people believe in. Is there a parent/child version of that? Like is there such thing as a type of practice where the devotee sees their god as their parent/ god sees the devotee as a child? Like surely that a thing that at least someone does. I just had the thought the other day and couldn’t find anything through googling it and wondered is any more experienced witches/pagans who have heard of something like that.

Oh God, godspousing pisscourse, god rest our souls and the souls on anyone in the blog.

As a (plural) fictionkin in a consensual, positive godspouse relationship with the Divine form of a canonmate who I had a less than fully consensual relationship with in canon: You have my sword. With the caveat that I'm an outlier and it's complicated.

Anyway, this is also kind of topical to the present since it's one of the things the Survivor's Network smear document attacked me for.

Anyway, here's a reminder that this blog is supportive of people's religions however they choose to practice them. (With obvious exceptions of directly harming others. Just stating this before the anti-endos next try to accuse me of supporting human sacrifice.) I fully support Godspouses, their beliefs and their relationships.

And I reject the suggestion that atypical religious practices are somehow wrong or immoral just because some people may be uncomfortable with them.
