Godzilla: King of the Monsters reign (May 30th 4:00 pm - July 1st approx 11:30pm - end of credits of the final showing) has officially ended in Plattsburgh NY.

Here I am but a loyal follower wearing one of my 8 new Godzilla shirts (gotten here - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SBP7WVD/ref=twister_B07RQT8R3Q?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) and the popcorn tin I got on premiere day, reused for tonight's last showing.

And I will swallow my pride, but even though this was my third showing of the movie, I cried (not sob cried like I heard people did when Iron Man died, or Hiccup set Toothless free. Just tears) during the “Goodbye... Old Friend” scene. Last time I cried during a Godzilla movie was when I first saw Godzilla vs. Destoroyah on AMC when they showed the Heisei movies in celebration of the 1998 film.

ANYWAY, I was kind of hoping against all the odds that its final day would have been the 17th of this month that way I could have treated myself to a B-Day showing like I did 2014. But...

... as Disney takes full control of theaters July with Aladdin apparently going strong, Avengers Endgame rerelease *rolls eyes*, Spiderman, Toy Story, and the Lion King...
