"Rider! Hey Rider!"

Ah, he knew that voice. Rider turns, watching Goggles run up to him, dragging another Inkling with him by the hand. They appeared to be a couple years younger, with tan skin and teal tentacles. For some reason, they're wearing Goggles' fluorescent jacket, which he'd taken off, leaving him in just his black undershirt. They're also shoeless, looking around in a disoriented manner.

Rider's brows knit in concern. "Who's this?"

"This is our son!" Goggles pushes the other Inkling forward, grinning.

Rider takes a step back. "What are you talking about? I've never even seen-"

"I found him in Octo Valley!"

Rider takes a second look at this... son. Not an Octoling Goggles had somehow mistaken for an Inkling. The Inkling stares back at him owlishly. Rider hadn't noticed before, but his skin is obviously slick and there's a trail of drips and slimy footprints behind him. "Why is he... wet."

"He was in a big glass tube! I had to break it to get him out!"

"Why did you just assume you had to do that?"

"I couldn't just leave him in there!" Goggles wraps his arms around other Inkling, who doesn’t react much to the sudden contact. "It was labeled with our names, so I couldn't just ignore him! I think the Octarians made him."

"What? How?" Rider looks over Goggles' shoulder, as if a group of angry Octarian scientists was about to charge them and take back their stolen experiment, or whatever this was.

"I dunno, they like cloning stuff down there!"
