Cynicism is a mental illness that’s best cured with an attitude adjustment. No, she’s not a crisis actor, nor a tool, nor being used, and your 401(k) or IRA invested in emerging markets in the developing world isn’t edible. So you can bury your whataboutisms about Obama and Indonesia, China, and India where the sun doesn’t shine. We’re supposed to be a world leader, but allowing OUR multinationals to dirty up the developing world for corporate returns isn’t what I’d call leading. She’s right when she says “how dare you,” because our leaders have not only allowed it but encourage it. The markets that America is so fond of, they’re party to the poisoning of the developing world. So your 401(k) better be edible because this world is tanking 1° at a time.
