ideal come outs from this arc:  - sanji cries - sanji gets beat up a lot -  sanji is uncharacterically distressed over being around his family - sanji begs on his knees for luffy to save him - sanji wears the goddamn hat  - nami and luffy get pissed because siblings arent supposed to be like this - luffy kicks his dads ass - nami kicks his brothers ass (one or both, why not) - nami carries sanji bridal style and saves him while theyre both bleeding (see: this fanart) - they get sanji back to their crew and he cries again

just give me like atleast any three of these. any two. ill be so happy

you can tell im not caught up with the manga because i ignore most of  the plot and infodumping and just concentrate on cute details. ILL GET THERE SOME DAY

ANOTHER THING i was thinking about sanji is what exactly is his deal when he flirts with women like im going to assume he has never been successful in scoring with a lady and thus has no idea where to go from there does he want a relationship or just sex? kids? i think sanji has this idealistic concept in his head how he wants this to happen, he will hit on a gorgeous lady, theyll have Hot Sex, she falls in love with him, they get married. this was what on his mind a lot when he lived at the baratie, because thats how its supposed to go, ya know! 

enter luffy and his entire world changing, his true dream rekindled. after a while of keeping up with his flirting, he remembers his dream of true love, and it feels dim in the light of all blue. nami and robin nor vivi are his true loves, and he thinks hell meet her someday, but thinking about what would come after makes him uncomfortable, because he is a part of the strawhat pirates now, theres not truly much space in his heart now that there 8 other people filling it to the brim in a way thats hard to describe. his heart lights up when he sees a beautiful woman, but he honestly knows that his life, his past and the way he is was not meant for a regular jackass happy ending, so he refuses to address this issue and keeps doing him and showering women with praise, not much considering what he would do if someone reciprocates his advances.

something i want to consider and also point out that sanji probably spent like at least 9 years on baratie and he also probably didn’t go to mainland during that time more than a few times tops i mean hes the second best cook there and they get supplies from merchant ships that pass by why would he bother doing a long trek from the middle of the ocean just to pick up shit esp since some of the ships also happen have cute sales girls to sell designer suits and some jackass like patty or carne can go if they need to instead of him so like going to arlong park was his first time having to be on land for a LONG time, its not like i have anything to add to this headcanon other than he has the most sea legs out of them all and also swims the best and is probably very uncomfortable because of steady ground for the first few times. hell get used to it eventually but still sleeps the best at merry
