I feel like everywhere I've traveled over the past 12 weeks is currently on fire. The Columbia River Gorge, multiple locations in Canada, and my beloved Glacier National Park. It's hard to wrap my head around the photos I've seen, the devastation. Views that will never look the same. History lost in a flash. People and pets displaced or killed. It's tragic. Here's a photo I made in Glacier in early August when the fire was ignited by lightning. This stretch of Going to the Sun Rd is currently closed due to the Sprague fire that is threatening the Lake MacDonald area.
