Gus and I seem to like our Goldn'obles!
I’m currently eating, and Gus grabbed a foot full and is eating them from his feet-hands!
Looks like our keeper won’t be replacing the bag of Harrison’s High Potency when it runs out! There’s nothing particularly wrong with that food, and it’s one that a lot of picky eaters often go for, he just wanted to try to switch away from a food that has corn as its base ingredient.
The Goldn'obles have quinoa as the first ingredient instead of corn.
Both myself and Gus (a Quaker parrot) eat the medium beak size. The picture on the site doesn’t look much like the food though! The food itself is very round shaped and not random crumbles shaped. I don’t mind, as the Harrison’s is kind of a...cylinder shape, and when we still had some old ZuPreem Fruitblend to finish, I only liked the round ones (even Gus wouldn’t eat the banana shaped ones) anyway.
Lots of crunchy sounds in the room but, just to make sure we aren’t faking it, my keeper is going to watch and make sure we’re still pooping as much as we usually do.
One thing to be aware of that my keeper almost missed: Because this food has no preservatives, it’s recommended to refrigerate it after opening!
