Lisa Snart always counted herself lucky that her brother was able to get her away from their father and into a good college. Instead of being a trauma doctor-turned-medical examiner, she may have ended up being a criminal like the ones she put away. Even Leonard was able to get a good life as an insurance investigator, thanks to his skills as a former thief.
But the day the particle accelerator blew, everything changed. She’d been out of town at the time, but her brother was hit full on, knocking him into the frozen river. Somehow, he’d ended up in a coma instead of dead, but Lisa came home immediately to take care of him. Then, his ice powers started.
He was taken to Mercury Labs, where a friend of hers promised he would be taken care of and kept secret. What she didn’t know was that others in the town were affected, too. Like Barry Allen, Cisco Ramon, and Caitlin Snow.
Warped by Eobard Thawne, disguised as Harrison Wells, the three started using their powers for their own personal gain, until Barry killed Thawne in revenge for murdering his mother. Together, Savitar, Reverb, and Killer Frost became the meta Godfathers of Central City.
Then, Leonard Snart woke up, and decided to stop him.
So started the fight between Citizen Cold and Team Savitar. Lisa watched from afar, helping her brother when she could, but staying away from the fighting. Until Killer Frost and Reverb kidnapped her to get back at her brother.
Eventually, Cold saved her, but Lisa couldn’t get over the pair. Neither could they. From that point on, they sought each other out, knowing it was wrong, but not really caring.
None of them expected a relationship to come of it.
because i have ideas even if I am unable to write at the moment. this is my trying to get over writer’s block while also working through some OT3 feels.
Critiques welcome and desired. @flashficsg
It was a busy day at Star Labs, which she wasn’t happy about. She hadn’t gotten herself caught so she could watch Cisco, the Flash, and their new tall, handsome helper run themselves ragged dashing in and out of the building over and over again. She had gotten herself caught so she could have some entertainment while Lenny and Mick were out on yet another job with their little hero crew. Had she known that she would be rejected by a second group of heroes today, she would’ve tracked down Mark to see what he was up to. Spending an afternoon discussing the peculiarities of the weather would be more entertaining than counting the overhead lights.
Instead, she got ‘caught’ sneaking around Star Labs, and had to be brought inside so someone could interrogate her nefarious plan right out of her. She hoped it would be Cisco. Or even their new friend with the sandy hair. He would certainly be fun to play with, even if he wasn’t quite as satisfying on the eyes as her lover boy.
But then the alarm went off, and they all rushed out of here, and Lisa was stuck in the center of the complex, her hands chained together, with doctor Caitlin Snow. And while she was beautiful, she was no fun at all, with her red lips set in a harsh line and her brow furrowed all the time. It looked like she was going to pop a vein in her eye sometime soon if she didn’t calm down. Even her typing was vicious; every time she got a frantic call over the line from one of her heroes, she hit the keys hard enough that Lisa was a little worried that should would either break the plastic or her finger. She was nice to look at, but there was no chance that witty banter or some nice flirty fighting was ever going to leave her lips.
“I’m hungry,” Lisa pouted. The comm had been silent for the last few minutes, and there was still no sign of any heroes heading their way. “Do you have a vending machine here? Or do you all usually do carry-out?”
Caitlin paused, her fingers hovering over her keyboard. “You should have thought about that before you broke in here,” she snipped. But she pulled something out of a drawer, and tossed it to Lisa, before the click-clack of the keys began again.
Lisa caught it easily right as Caitlin looked up at her, wide eyed. “I forgot you had the cuffs… where did your handcuffs go?”
“These?” she asked, lifting the metal from her lap. “I got them off ages ago.” Right about when she realized that this wasn’t going to be a run and done job for Team Flash. There was no reason to sit with her wrists getting bruised if she was going to be here for a while. Really, there was no reason for her to be here at all at this point. She probably could have snuck off during one of those frantic yelling sessions the doctor kept putting on; then Cisco would have to come looking for her later, and she could catch him off guard on her own turf, maybe tie him up for a little bit.
Now that, she would like.
“Aren’t you supposed to be interrogating me?” Lisa asked, running her finger over a few of the papers that Cisco left behind. Her captor turned and batted her hand away, shooting her the dirtiest glare Lisa had ever seen in her life. Keep away from his stuff, it said. Well. “Trying to figure out why I’m here?”
“I know why you’re here,” Caitlin said, her tone suddenly cool instead of the shrill shriek Lisa was used to hearing. “It doesn’t take a scientist to realize you came here to antagonize Cisco. Or else you’d be long gone.”
Touché. “Antagonize is such a strong word. I prefer to think of it as heavy flirting.”
Caitlin muttered something under her breath, and Lisa turned sharp on her heel, tipping her head to look the doctor up and down. “What was that?” Lisa asked.
Her captor flamed red, and stared hard down at the floor. “I said, I prefer not to think of it at all,” she said, her voice steady despite her obvious discomfort. Then Caitlin bit her lip, and Lisa had to bite back a devilish grin. Maybe this would be fun, after all.
“Is that a hint of jealousy I detect, doctor?”
Caitlin’s head jolted up in surprise. “N-no!” she said. She was flustered, obviously, and it looked so adorable that Lisa almost kissed her right then just to see her reaction. Was it possible for her to turn a bright enough red to match her lipstick?
“Oh, doc,” Lisa said, “it’s okay to admit you got it bad. There’s no need to lie to me. I’d be worried about you if you could stand to work around him all day without wanting to bang him.”
