This was the newest member of Buccellati’s team, Risotto knew. After a first skirmish with the Boss’ agents, Risotto knew more about Buccellati’s team and their Stands than before. They were a mottled group; their hardest hitter was a frail boy with an even frailer mentality, and their Stands generally weren’t created for offence. Not that it mattered; all Stands were deadly in their own way.

But this boy’s Stand involved transforming inanimate objects into living beings. A frightening Stand, if used correctly--and Risotto was fairly certain that the boy knew exactly how to use it. But there was still much to hone when it came to the boy’s Stand; did he know all of its capabilities? Could his Stand be used to create humans? Would they be sentient? Would they be husks? Did the size of the object being transformed matter when it came to creating a living being?

Risotto guided his group through developing their Stands and the ways they could be employed. This was a silent favour that Risotto doing for Buccellati, that he would approach the boy out of his own initiative to train him.

“Giovanna. Follow me,” he stated. “This should take only an hour of your time; you can spare that much.”

Emerging without disguise or utilising Doppio: this was something he rarely did--but he had to find out about what happened to his trusted capo and where his Arrow had gone. Nothing had been anomalous about Polpo’s activities, and thus Diavolo had begun to look into the latest recruits that Polpo had initiated--starting with the latest one.

"Giorno Giovanna--the last person to greet Polpo before he committed suicide.” Diavolo’s voice was quiet, but powerful enough to fill the room. It was a small dorm room, one given to students attending the attached school. The boy was at his desk, his back to Diavolo. Giorno was alone--Diavolo had made ascertain of this fact before he’d emerged from the shadows. “Apparently a new initiate into Passione... but what are his intentions?” He continued, the door clicking shut behind him, blocking off the rest of the world from this tiny room.

It had been four days, and still Giorno’s fever had yet to break, and Fugo was--more than a little stressed. It was terrifying, to see such a healthy man suddenly collapse, his forehead burning up with a fever that refused to go down. They hadn’t been able to identify the illness--there was no other symptom beyond Giorno’s burning fever and the coolness of the rest of his body.

He’d been written off as dying by almost all of the specialists they’d called up, blackmailed and threatened--but Giorno yet stubbornly hung on, alive but unconscious on his bed. Fugo assumed that it had to do with Giorno’s Stand, which could create life--and possibly give it vitality, invigorating it beyond what was natural. Bacteria could cause life-threatening illnesses and fevers. If Gold Experience was causing this fever by--theoretically boosting these bacteria, Fugo didn’t know how to help Giorno, to save him from his illness.

All he could do was stay at Giorno’s bedside while managing Passione to stop it from falling apart in Giorno’s absence. He was one of the few still willing to stay close Giorno and his potentially infectious disease despite his near-crippling need to stay clean and free of germs.

"--You’d better not die from this. If you could survive Purple Haze, you have to survive this.” Fugo remarked aloud, the silence of Giorno’s room oppressive with foreboding.
