he JUMPS when he feels her hands on his shoulders. he’s a nervous MESS – and obviously so. this wasn’t the first date he’d been on, but serious things involving romance sometimes freaked him out. ESPECIALLY if it was moving too fast.
garfield didn’t exactly like suits, he figured if he was going to a nice place he might as well look nice too. not that he didn’t always look FINE.
he starts rambling when she begins to fix his tie, his entire attire was disheveled. shirt half tucked in. his uniform peaking out of the bottom of his pants underneath, he wasn’t even wearing shoes ! though that wouldn’t be a first time.
