Wanted to make something based on that one Arrow illustration and decided to take it as an opportunity to practice another drawing style. I say it looks pretty good, compared to my old attempts at lineless art.

Which is the better ship?

Frededdy (Fred x Freddy)

Goldold (Golden x Gold)

Propaganda for Frededdy:

The duality, the yin and yang dynamic of this ship. Fred has been there with Freddy for as long as he can remember, and they used to be so close before societal pushback pulled them apart. But that doesn't make Freddy feel better- trying to fight Fred only makes things worse. The only thing that eventually makes both of them happier is when their bond strengthens again. And in season 2, when Fred mysteriously disappears, Freddy is extremely worried! Despite how often he complains about him, he can't imagine life without him!! They're linked and cannot be separated in a way that matters.

Propaganda for Goldold:

Gold is everything that Golden hates about himself. He follows orders unthinkingly, never stopping to consider the consequences or what he truly wants. He never thinks of the past or future, never lets his emotions be seen, if he even has ones. But, if Golden wants to move on with his life, to heal, he must account for, deal with and accept these parts of himself. And what's the best way to do this than to fall in love with the guy that literally embodies all of them. You can't hate parts of yourself if you love someone else who has them. Also, Gold can take on all of the work that Golden can't deal with anymore and keep him from being too irresponsible, reminding him that, even if he leaves his home, he'll still have responsibilities. Meanwhile, Golden can help Gold start thinking for himself, start considering what HE wants for HIS own life and encouraging him to make his own decisions. After all, shadows are a part of a human, but they still have their own consciousness, their own needs, desires and sense of self. Golden can help Gold find himself outside of his undying devotion to his higher ups (Submitted by @chocottang).

Dead Inside by Younger Hunger is a very interesting song for them... I can imagine it either being sung from a Gold or Golden POV depending on how you interpret it which I think also adds a lot to it.

Also, Undisclosed Desires by Muse. The vibes are all there (except maybe the religious symbolism).
