"I can have my cake and eat it too, right?" Goliath is sipping his iced Americano with increasing urgency.

"I mean, heroes do it all the time! Lead double lives, then come back home at the end of the day! Who's to say villains can't either?"

He's tapping his fingers against the table now, even bouncing his leg. He's totally not nervous about this blowing up in his face. Totally.

"Ya...Ya it'll be fine. They won't even see right through me. Pft, I can still be Goliath and be around my estranged niece and sister. It'll be fine; they won't even realize. Come on, back me up on this. This is a good plan. Plus, plus I get decent alibis if the heroes catch up to me. My niece will say I'm kinda mild-mannered, that I'd never hurt anyone."

Throw in some decent villain tactics in there to further explain himself, there we go.

((Fun fact about Goliath/Blake in the FF verse! In this verse, he was caught faster, ending his reign of terror sooner as they decommissioned him about two years before the war started))

((As a result, he goes about the war in that daydream-like, La-La Land bliss that most of the KND adults are under. He quite literally can't see the danger, only seeing fusions as feral animals that might have gone rabid.))

((His home was destroyed, so he was relocated to City Hall though he has a bad habit of wandering off leading Addy to need to lead him back to the safe zones))

((That doesn't mean he can't be Goliath, though! If you have an FF muse who you want to meet the villain, feel free to hmu. I can find a way to have him recommissioned just for you <3 ))

((Also a fun thing I noticed while developing Goliath further in the Discord I'm in is that in different verses, its really a flip of the coin whether he becomes Goliath or stays as mundane Blake.))

((If hes betrayed by his friends or wronged in some way, chances are he goes down a path that leads him to becoming Goliath))

((If he's not wronged, or is diverted from that path by an outside source, he becomes Blake albeit still with his anger issues he has to work through.))

((In some verses like in the Pokémon verse, he naturally decides to retire from being Goliath because he wants to spend more time with his family.))

((In others like the superhero verse we're doing in the Discord, he decides to try and pretend to be a normal civilian so he can be closer to his family. He wants to try to have his cake and eat it too, to still strive for revenge while also still being around his estranged family))

((Idk, just interesting to me how many facets this man has. Goliath likes to think "Blake" is dead, and theres only the monster his friends made, but these verses prove otherwise. They prove that he still craves connection with others, especially his family.))

((I've been wondering about how to put Goliath in FF, but you know what might be interesting to see?))

((Decommissioned Goliath (or rather just Blake) in FF))

((I'd imagine in this verse he doesn't end up killing the men sent to take him back to his abusive household and he ends up just staying with his sector until he hits thirteen years old and is decommissioned))

((Decommissioned Goliath is much like Monty in that he cant see the danger around him and goes about business as usual.))

((And oh boy, that would not be good during an alien invasion.))

((Addy tries to keep him in City Hall where hes safe, but he ends up wandering outside a lot and getting into trouble, so she has to get her uncle back to a safe zone every so often))

Me:....what if the toiletnator was also apart of Goliath's old sector but even goliath doesn't realize since he always has that mask on-

((I definitely feel like toning Goliath down by like a ton was a good move. I feel like it makes the moment he actually hurts Addy or Amelia hit a lot harder, because he's normally more calculating and patient. He doesn't snap; he doesn't let someone else's words get to him))
