*Love* your description of my blanket. As far as I know there is no High Circle of Knitters so you're safe there, and even if there was if you can knit at all you're a knitter. I have a knitting blog (sarahsstitchstash) with all my stuff tagged 'mine' if you want to see more. Love your blog so far & I'm glad my brother (danielx9) told me about you.

There is though! A High Circle of Knitters! There has to be! Because when I knit on the bus, people notice and smile, and I smile back, and then they comment on my knitting or ask about my knitting or talk about their knitting or knitting in general, and that first part has to be a secret-handshake-thing — knit, smile, smile? — and so obviously the comments and questions and talking have to be some sort of code, which means that there has to be a conspiracy, and if there’s a conspiracy there has to be some sort of High Circle of Knitters leading it!

And Dickens knew it too! (Or so I’ve heard. I haven’t yet read A Tale of Two Cities. I will, honest. Maybe.)

Anyways, people think I’m interesting enough that they’re telling siblings about me? …*wow-eyes*…

It was no secret that Maria Hill disliked medics. 

But every so often she was ordered to go and see one, usually due to obvious injury or missed yearly check-up appointments. 

It was the former that brought her in today, with a scowling Fury crossing his arms at the door to make sure she was seen and then leaving her alone. The gash on her upper arm probably needed stitches, but she could have done that in her quarters. So she said.

"Look, you've looked at it, right? That's exactly what he said, so I can go now and we never have to talk about this again." Actually, what Fury had said was 'see to her,' but whatever.

Hazel had gladly accepted the invite from Gideon and his wife. His family, simply put, was awesome. The kids were so very sweet and she was still amazed at their kindness after all that mess last year.

The evening was fun. They all had a wicked sense of humour which suited her just fine, and eventually the subject of age came up. Hazel was thirty-two now and they were soon drawing differences between her and the oldest child who was less than ten years younger. Said child was insisting that he knew all the same music as she, and that's when she broke out the iPod and pulled up the Blow Monkeys.

"See, it's not just a clever weird band name...I loved this album...and you've never heard of it."

The son retorted with a snippy "And I could have died happily not having ever heard it!" and they all fell to laughing over it, her mild indignation would pass.  But not before she swatted him a few times with a throw pillow.

Zacharia: I’m proud of the little bugger, he can honestly say he’s helped save the world. On the other hand he’s nearly blown it up as well. Now that I think about it, that’s how he got hired. As to his inventions? I like them, They are interesting to say the least, on the plus side, he pays me to arrange the copy rights on them. Mind you, I like them a whole lot better in other counties.

Simon: How often do I stitch little Cyst back up? Let me put it this way, I know he’s insides better then anyone else, and he’s on a fist name basis with most of the ER staff.
