Hunni’s Sweet Surprise
Today's Hunni's 20th birthday and her boyfriend, Mako has been planning his biggest surprise ever.

Hunni brought her hand on her cheek and sighed. April 14th is the day, she turns 20 years old. And yet, she's still hasn't aged a bit. Through social media, she'd get the same birthday wishes from her friends and squad mates. This became, a bit bothersome. Over the years, no one threw a party for her and Hunni didn't care about it. Every year, Hunni's not like her usual hot-headed self.
That was when Hunni recieved a call from Mako, Hunni's boyfriend. She lazily answered it. "What do you want, babe? Didn't I tell that I need some time, alone?" She said.
"I know, hun. But there's something important, you have to see. Come visit my place, if you want to." He contained his excitement. In Mako's appartment, he's not alone.
Hunni listened in and groaned. "This better be good. Otherwise, you'll be buying me lunch for the rest of the year." She warned him, before hanging up.
Hunni left out of her parent's house and drove her car to Mako's appartment. She just wanted to spend some time, alone in her house, but she trusts him enough.
She arrived at her destination and got out of the car. With a flip of her bang over her right eye, she went up the stairs and walked over to her boyfriend's door.
She knocked on the door, loudly but it was already unlocked. His confused her, slightly. There's no way, Mako would've left it unlocked. She went inside and it was completely dark. She turned on the light, right next to her and she was greeted by her boyfriend and several inklings.
"SURPRISE!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HUNNI!!!" Everyone, including Mako shouted in excitement and pure joy.
Hunni nearly jumped, almost. Her eyes went as wide as dinner plates. All of her friends are here. Fynn, Angie, Mysti, Collet, Andrena, Mason, etc. Standing in front her, was Mako himself. He walked up to her with kind smile on his face. Hunni felt speechless, not sure what to say.
"I'm sorry, I had to bring you over here. I just wanted to throw a surprise party for you. I believe that your ex is the one who came up with it?" He turned to see Fynn. The pink inkling in glases nods in approval, before sitting on the sofa. Mako turned back to face Hunni. He noticed that Hunni was in tears. "Hun? Are you alright..?" Mako said with concern.
Hunni hugged Mako in a tight embrace. She was beginning to sob, the moment she hugged him. "T-Thank you... Thank you so much.." She was happy that everyone cared for her birthday, after so long.
Mako smiled and pat her on the back, soothing her. The Splat Tendency crew just saw the heart warming moment.
"I'm glad, you like it.. Now then, birthday girl." Mako kissed her on the cheek. "Ready to get this party started?" This time, Mako was the one to smooth talk her. Hunni's been flustering him with her soothing words for a year. Now, he her back.
Hunni was blushing, a deep shade of yellow. No one has ever talked her in an alluring voice, before.And she liked that. Hunni lets out a giggle and nodded. "Y-Yeah.. I'd like that.. I love you, Mako." She said, nuzzling against his chest.
Mako closed his eyes and smiled. "I love you, too."
After Hunni stopped sobbing out of pure joy, the party got underway. One of her squadmates, Collet is this party's DJ. His own mix was on fire and he's proud of himself. Everyone in Mako's apartment handed out gifts for Hunni. All of her gifts were spring-themed and floral. And most of all: the sweets that Angie and Mako brought to the table. They were Hunni's favorite and she didn't waste time in partaking one.
Today, Hunni finally emerged out of her hole. 20 years in the making and Hunni was back to her usual self. She hope, it stays that way.
