I'll talk myself into thinking I want to go snip-snip until I see this, then I recognize, how God has given me a long desire of my heart to have #longHEALTHYhair as I did in my childhood - but better. Back when I wanted to be an independent teen, that did her own hair, I certainly got my wish. I told my mom, she did not NEED to do my hair anymore, I could do my own hair. Well, little did I know that I knew little of what she knew about my hair, and I paid for it, by my hair beginning to break. Five days before my 18th birthday, I pulled my hair back in a ponytail and I cut the tail off! Then I hid my new do - lol! I felt more ashamed than liberated, simply because I did not know what to do with my hair being short, X-D, plus how could I tell my mom. She certainly found out when she saw my hair on my birthday, just before I slipped out the door for school. Boy, did she fuss - She protested she could not get senior pics taken. I really wonder what went through her head, when she saw it. (She did eventually get the senior pics she wanted. ;-) ) #thatWASthen HAPPY to have #GONETHRUtoGETTO
