🎀🎄Christmas Eve: Carolling🎄🎀
This was yesterday’s post, but I fell asleep before I could put it up here 😅 it’s a redraw from a piece I did back in December 2019! That feels like a whole lifetime ago, and I think my art has improved a fair bit. At least I’ve moved past those weird oval borders!
Tomorrow’s (today’s) prompt: Christmas Tree
[Image ID: the first image shows a Christmas illustration in alcohol marker. It shows a snowy outdoor scene with a starry sky. Stood in the snow are an anthropomorphic highland cow and sheep. The cow is dressed in a sweater, scarf and heavy winter skirt. Because of her horns, instead of a hat, she wears a mismatched pair of fluffy socks on her ears. She’s holding a book of carols. Beside her, the sheep is also wrapped up warm in a sweater, scarf and patched britches with green wellies, and he’s holding a crook with a lantern hanging from it,
The second image shows a closeup of the cow. Her long forelock hangs over her eyes, and she’s smiling broadly.
The third image shows a closeup of the sheep. The wool on his head looks curly and thick, and his lantern is glowing brightly.
The fourth image shows the original 2019 piece. Its on white paper instead of brown, and the details are simpler and a little clumsier. Instead of a rectangular frame, the illustration is a wonky oval. End ID]
