More of my rewrite continuing with Frozen now having a Frozen/Tangled crossover that acts as a sequel for both Frozen and Tangled.

It has been two years since the events of my Frozen rewrite. Both Elsa/Hans and Anna/Kristoff are happy together. Hans has even moved to Arendale and is known as Elsa’s boyfriend. But one day a wedding invitation arrives for their cousin Princess Rapunzel of Corona and her fiancée Eugene.

Both Anna and Elsa are like “Wait, we have a cousin” because they didn’t realize they have family outside of Arendale because of those years they had been in isolation and because Rapunzel had spent the first eighteen years of her life locked in a tower. Before going to Corona, Elsa is warned by Pabbie to be careful because she is something called the Moon Queen. Basically Rapunzel’s mom is the younger sister of Elsa and Anna’s dad. The Arendale group arrives in Corona where Elsa and Anna instantly get along with Rapunzel who do to events in her TV series has her long golden hair back. You can also include her friends from the TV series Cassandra and Varian.

Cassandra finds out that her mother, Mother Gothel could come back to life and they have to stop it. Elsa, Anna, Hans, and Kristoff agree to help especially since they know of how Rapunzel was traumatized by her. You can have the Stabbington brothers act as a minor antagonist with Hans admitting that those are some of his older brothers since I like that theory.

They end up finding out that Mother Gothel can be brought back through the Sun Princess and the Moon Queen. Much like how Rapunzel’s powers are connected to the sun, Elsa’s are connected to the moon. Their powers accidentally trigger the process of Mother Gothel coming back, Rapunzel is able to find a way to cut her hair short again which causes Mother Gothel to die again. The story ends with Rapunzel’s wedding with hints that Elsa wants to propose to Hans when they get home, I am going on the idea of Elsa having to be the one to propose since she is a Queen much like Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth II.

The personality of Good Hans! It's just like Hans in the musical. The way Ryan McCartan plays him is so cool! (The little I've seen has really fascinated me)

Since I talked about my rewrite for Wish, I want to do my idea of what I would have done with Frozen if I was asked to rewrite it. Have Hans not be a villain, have things go basically the same, but it changes when Anna runs off to find Elsa. Hans also goes off on his own to find either Anna or Elsa while the servants set up a sanctuary at the castle for the citizens. Since Hans prepared for the journey unlike Anna, he finds Elsa’s castle first, like put it right when she finishes Let It Go. Even though he is technically engaged to Anna, he finds himself smitten with the beautiful ice queen. He tells Elsa that Arendale is frozen and she freaks since she didn’t mean to. Hans sees that any time Elsa is upset her powers act up and he starts to help her calm down. He says that maybe they could try to come up with a way to the way things were. So between Anna’s story mostly going the same, we get scenes of Elsa with Hans. Hans understands Elsa’s feelings of isolation because of how his twelve older brothers ignored him and Elsa starts to fall for Hans. Anna and Kristoff arrive and Elsa accidentally strikes Anna’s heart. Elsa thinking the worst, runs off to turn herself in because she thinks her death will end the winter. So now Hans joins Anna and Kristoff to meet the trolls. When the trolls say that an act of true love will save her, she kisses Hans, but nothing happens. Both admit that they don’t love each other because they are starting to fall for someone else. Anna also starts to wonder if a kiss isn’t enough for the act of true love while she is slowly dying. The group arrives back at the castle to see Elsa about to be put to death for “killing Anna” but Anna jumps between the executioner and Elsa as the act of true love. Elsa realizing that her powers are connected to her emotions, uses her positive emotions to end the winter. Then Elsa continues being Queen, then you have a moment between Elsa and Hans along with Anna and Kristoff’s moment. Just remember this is my version of Hans who isn’t evil unlike his canon counterpart.

So, another epic-length birthday present~

This one is Anna/Hans/Kristoff, with good!Hans (in the end).

I really enjoyed writing this, even if it was something of a challenge XD Especially getting the chance to draw in elements from the original fairytale and mixing them in with Disney’s version.

Hans and his family

So this is me defending the character of Hans once again. Sort of. His desperate actions aren't justified. Really I'm just humanizing him. 

Gifs 1 and 2 Obviously his brothers are kind of jerks and he's the runt of the family

Gif 3 I think we can all agree with Anna's face that no matter how badly Hans turned out it's a pretty mean thing to ignore your sibling to that extent

Gif 6 From the moment I saw this clip I began to think about how his brothers would react. Brothers beating on each other is common in families but he has 12 brothers and is the runt of the family. That's a pretty unfair advantage

Gif 5 Look at his unsure face when Anna offers to have his brothers live with them. He clearly doesn't like the idea. 

Gif 4 Clearly Hans would have jumped at any chance to get out of the Southern Isles and away from his family. 

I think that should say something about how far he was willing to go. I also think it kind of progressed as the movie went along.

At first Hans didn't know who Anna was but was concerned and not a jerk about it

That smile on his face makes him look hopeful. He finally found an opening where he can escape his life in the Southern Isles. 

Here's one of Hans's scarier moments when he realizes that his new position can be taken away and uses his new power to initiate a threat and the Duke immediately backs off. Something tells me growing up with 12 brothers, no one would really back down when he would stand up for himself. 

Then right here. There really wasn't anything he could do here so he could have let this guy kill Elsa and there still wouldn't be any blame on him. This way works too but afterwards he imprisons her rather than kills her. Yes he needed her to bring back summer but later he says that he'll kill Elsa in order to bring summer back. 

So this is where I think it all goes downhill:

Finally there's the thing with Anna and Elsa

I'm not saying he's sincere in this but I think he does understand how she feels and could possibly hopes to find a kindred spirit in her regarding their relationships with their siblings.

But:

Anna still continues to have faith in her sister. After all the years of rejected snowman making she still continues to trust and love her sister. I think that makes Hans lose faith in finding someone to relate to in Anna. 

And then:

This is the reconciliation of the Arendelle family. Despite how long Elsa had ignored Anna they forgive each other because they know life is too short to miss out on each other. 

Hans didn't get that reconciliation with his brothers and probably never will. Mostly because he wasn't interested in trying in the first place. He held on to that pain and anger and that's what drove him to being the bad guy. 

The whole movie is based on sibling relationships and the power of family. So if familial true love was the solution to the movie why can't it be the reason for the villain as well?
