It’s amazing how small changes can add up to big results. I was in the mood to purge & clean out the old stuff, so I started with my closet, which is full of clothes I’ve held onto for years. I packed up 𝟏𝟎 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 & 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐬, not just because they’re no longer in style, but they didn’t fit! Like these pants I wore for a final presentation in my MBA program 10 years ago—I remember feeling uncomfortable in them because they were so tight. Not anymore. I don’t remember the number on the scale, but I’ve had 3 children since then🤰🏻so damn straight I’m feeling awesome about it🥰 Nothing changed over night. I didn’t overhaul my nutrition all at once or take a magic pill. I made small changes (like eating more meals at home than out). I made exercise a priority (even over sleep) and invested in a simple-to-follow plan. Most importantly, I’ve changed my mindset around self care, rest, & food (it’s not a trade for exercise, an award or punishment) #goodbyeguilt 👋🏻 My journey hasn’t been a straight or flat road. I’ve experienced highs & lows like anyone else. Some days it was really easy to get up & follow my plan, other days I laid on the couch crying with a pop tart hanging out of my mouth. Point being👉🏼 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚'𝙨 𝙟𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙮 𝙞𝙨 𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩. BUT you don’t have to do it alone. You don’t have to think about what workout to do each day or create meal plans for yourself or come up with new recipes.
