google’s user database has been hacked, but not their services. you can still use some of their stuff anonymously.
this is just the latest in a series of breaches though. wonder who all are next or will it be a fire sale?
So the premiere juggernaut of the "Trust us with your private data, passwords, and payment methods" tech companies has been hacked. This is according to the Google Threat Intelligence Group at Google. The perps are a group called ShinyHunters so scamming based on the stolen data may soon follow.

WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF GOOGLE IS HACKED??
Let’s assume if google got hacked. Then there are two assumptions we could think of:
First, they could back up their data if they have any backup file. But, this is difficult to think that any such large data could be backup for this reason. Google is one of the largest organizations, so maybe they have a backup. And also, backup of such a large amount of data could take some time.
Second, if there is no backup, they would go down. It’s simple enough to assume that a large company got hacked and a new chapter would be begun in history “Google hacked”. Rumour has it that Google has infiltrated all of the nuclear missile systems in the world and that the first person who hacks into a Google server will receive a 50 megaton warhead detonation in his living room.That being said Google has been hacked in the past a couple of times and strict measures have been taken against the hackers. Also, user protection is maintained at all levels, so no worries there. But these days, hacking Google is pretty tough in the nose job as they've the brightest of minds working for them.Google is estimated to have more than 4m servers and all of them have redundancies (which are basically duplicates that can serve instead of the main ones). And then probably the redundancies of redundancies.
