Thanks, Google Maps.
Qualcuno mi sa spiegare perché secondo Google Maps Guayaquil non sarebbe più in Ecuador ma in Armenia??? WTF???
Is there anyone able to explain me why Google Maps thinks that Guayaquil is not in Ecuador anymore and had suddenly moved to Armenia??? @mapsontheweb
Things I learned this week
It's been an interesting week -- it always is when it's the week includes April Fools. Among the interesting things I learned this week thanks to the impromptu geography lesson includes finding local Phantom Bog, RI, formerly local Booze Creek, in Bethesda, MD.
I also learned that Google Maps is not infallible.
And I also found that Google Maps pulled one over on me (I don't know if anyone else experienced this, but HA HA! April FOOL!)
Wait for it .... wait for it....
Yes, the illusive Mew came up as a restaurant in the wilds of Brazil.
The same with Mew2.
Thank you Google Maps. You got me. :)
business is thriving at the local GreatClips.
i am not a cartographer, but i am pretty sure that making roads harder to see is not the way to make maps.
if i was lost in the middle of nowhere and had to use google maps, i would probably die (insert joke about apple maps being even worse)
good thing i vaguely remember orienting skills from when i used to be a boy scout.
