В результатах поиска отеля система сообщит пользователю, искал ли он информацию о нем (или даже останавливался ли он в этом отеле раньше), а также покажет отели, близкие к заинтересовавшим пользователя местах. Персонализированные результаты увидит только сам пользователь, при этом он сможет настроить свой аккаунт так, чтобы отключить эти подсказки в любое время.
Если пользователь выбирает отель и хочет подтвердить стоимость проживания перед бронированием, то теперь он сможет увидеть как цену за ночь, так и общую цену за все время пребывания, включая налоги и сборы на вкладках «Обзор» или «Цены».
После того, как пользователь вошел в свой аккаунт Google, он будет видеть будущие (если подтверждение бронирования было получено в Gmail) и потенциальные поездки, которые только планируются. Чтобы быстро вернуться к планированию, можно добавить ярлык быстрого доступа на экран смартфона, воспользовавшись опцией «Добавить ярлык».

Google Trips chiude, molte funzionalità si spostano su Google Maps
L'app dedicata alla prenotazione degli itinerari viene cancellata e assorbita da Maps e Viaggi. Ecco cosa cambia
Google sta chiudendo la sua app Trips per mobile, ma sta incorporando gran parte delle funzionalità del servizio nella sua app Maps e nelle funzionalità di ricerca, secondo quanto dichiarato ieri dalla società.
Il supporto per l'app Trips terminerà oggi, ma le informazioni come le note e i luoghi salvati saranno disponibili nella ricerca fino a quando un utente accederà al proprio account Google.
Per trovare attrazioni, eventi e luoghi popolari in un'area geografica, gli utenti potranno cercare "i miei viaggi" o andare alla nuova e migliorata pagina Viaggi su Google.
Google ha annunciato le modifiche al proprio sito Viaggi a settembre 2018, e queste includevano molte delle funzionalità che erano state introdotte nell'app Trips. Quindi ora l'attenzione sarà rivolta a riportare gli utenti su Travel e ad includere più funzionalità nell'app di navigazione e mappe di Google.
Presto gli utenti saranno in grado di aggiungere e modificare note da Google Trips nella sezione Viaggi di un browser e trovare attrazioni, voli e hotel salvati per viaggi imminenti e passati.
In Maps, sarà da oggi possibile cercare una destinazione o trovare luoghi iconici specifici, elenchi di guide, eventi o ristoranti scorrendo verso l'alto nella scheda "Esplora" dell'app.
L'icona del menù ora porterà gli utenti nei luoghi che hanno salvato nella sezione "I tuoi luoghi". E presto l'app per le mappe includerà anche le prossime prenotazioni organizzate per viaggio e tali prenotazioni saranno disponibili anche offline, di modo che un utente non dovrà scaricarle.
