Your evening with Kanna has been very pleasant, even if they office smells distinctly unpleasant. 

You decide to thank them for their time using the new Gorren words they taught you.

You don’t get them quiet right but Kanna doesn’t seem to mind. 

Just as you are about to turn and head out the door, you feel something strike you on the back of the head, sliding your helmet over your eyes.It doesn’t hurt enough to deal damage, but it still stings.

You can just barely make out the mysterious horned child darting behind the closing door. It seems they threw an empty beer can at your head and ran.

Kanna sputters with anger and embarrassment.

Kanna lets out a long and frustrating sigh before they address you again.

So it seems that the mysterious horned child does indeed live here, and more than that they are Kanna’s child. But what do they mean by ‘just moved in?’ You can’t help but wonder where Liam had been living until recently.

Either way the pain in the back of your head has already faded.

Took me a while but now I have all six parts.

Gorren got another redesign.

Instead of being a demon or a vampire, he is now an elf / tree Folk (dryad? Plantfolk?) Hybrid!

You are interested in the new language you heard Kanna speaking.

The [Dunceia] language Cal and Gestalt speak came to you pretty naturally, even though you are still learning how to read and write with it.

The [Leifel] language you heard Yvil speak was very melodic and sweet, but you only heard them speak a few words of it.

The [Gorren] language Kanna just spoke was very crisp and strong sounding. Since you are hear you decide to learn a bit more.

You aren’t sure who Liam is but you are glad Kanna is so eager to talk. You initially wondered if they might be a little crass initially but they seem very friendly now that you have taken them time to get to know them.

It takes about an hour but the two of you talk at length about the basics of the Gorren language. You learn that there is a formal and informal version, that informal sentences are short and use fluid wording, while formal sentences are arranged in ‘towers’ that tell more based on the connection between the words.

It is very complicated by Kanna manages to teach you how to say a few basic words and one or two formal sentences.

Since Kanna appears to be the first Gorren you have encountered on your journey, you hand them the faded [Family Photo] 

Kanna takes the photo and takes a long hard look at it, confusion and sadness crossing their face.

They mutter something in a language you haven’t heard before.

It is a strange bit of information to take in.There used to be five noble families that ruled the land before the Rot, and before Varicorp™.
