I surf the web for different reasons everyday, but one of my guilty pleasures is going on gossip blogs!! I know what you’re thinking, “Why!!??” The answer is simple, it’s all for a quick escape, entertainment and laughs. Today I’m going to take you to one of my fave gossip blogs, Bossip.
Bossip is your typical celeb gossip site, except it focuses on the the urban entertainment community and is pretty hilarious. It talks about whose dating who, who wore what, who did who, television shows, sports, music releases, music videos and random ridiculous news. It’s entertaining but ANNOYING. I say I love this site, but i loathe it at the same time. The max I stay on it is 5 minutes for these reasons:
1. The site is just UGLY. It’s format hasn’t changed since I discovered the site and that was about three years ago. Nothing is modern about it and it just looks basic.
2. The ADS are anywhere and everywhere. I know you need to pay your bills and all, but they are just too large and overbearing. When I decide to click on a news post and it opens to another page, some ad pops up or a random video on the left sidebar from a celeb interview starts to play! It’s just distracting and rude! In a way, I want to decide what I want to see, as opposed to it being thrown in my face!
Otherwise, I go to the site for sheer entertainment and nothing more and I would say it does it’s job.
