Constantly looking at the clock on the tower you noticed it was getting closer and closer to the arrival time of the date to start. Watching the people go by you notice your heartbeat speeding up as each minute passed by.
It took you forever to get dressed thinking about what look would impress him. Looking down at your outfit you wore skinny light blue jeans with their knees cut out, white platform sneakers and a baby pink crop top with your hair curled and pinned to the side.
Both of you decided to meet at the city square because there was so much to do. Yugyeom had been your crush for a while in your college History class because you both sat in the back and always shared notes and got lunch after class. It was only a matter of time til you had to express your feelings and to your surprise, he felt the same. This marked your first date ever and you couldn’t remember how it felt to be this happy.
Looking back up a warm smile hit your cheeks as you saw him walking towards you taking in the scenery. He was wearing a blue and white striped turtleneck with a long beige cardigan, black pants, and black creepers. It was as if in a sea of people, he was the only one that was clear.
Finally, meeting your eyes he let out the kindest smile and started jogging through the crowd to get to you and just like that he pulled you in for a sweet embrace.
“I am so happy to see you, I missed you.” He said in your ear while still holding you sending your heart to accelerate even more. Pulling away Yugyeom kisses the top of your head. “Hungry?” “Starving!” You replied.
The first stop was at a popular sweets café where you both shared a strawberry milkshake with two straws at each end, talking about each other’s interests and laughing at memories that you both have shared over the span of the class time.
Finished at the café you both decided to spend the rest of the date doing little things like going to shops, the arcade and lastly to walk to the park to watch the sunset.
“Let’s sit here” he said pointing to a steel blue bench seated facing the city from the park.
“Thank you for today, it couldn’t have been any more perfect! Plus you won me this little guy.” You said Motioning to a plump baby bird plushy waving his little wing at Yugyeom as if to say hello. “Pft!” Yugyeom let out a small laugh that turned into a louder one. That just caused you to deep blush and hide your face with the plushy.
“Y/N you are what is perfect” Yugyeom said while lowering the plushy to look at your face. Looking deep into his eyes you couldn’t believe the words you were hearing.
“Y/N, I like that with everyone you are yourself, the kind, funny, beautiful girl I met at the beginning of the semester. Please don’t ever…. change” Yugyeom’s voice suddenly slowed down as he put his hand on my cheek and pulled me into the most fulfilling kiss.
Once our lips touched the taste was so sweet and the filling of sparks hit your whole body. His lips were so smooth and would be the only thing on your mind for the rest of the night.
