“Well that’s an interesting predicament…” | @gotitmeme-orized sent
hmm...starters -- accepting!
INTERESTING wasn’t the word for it--not even in the slightest. The Organization was full of capable people, strong people--people who were willing and ready to fight. Hadn’t they figured out that Demyx wasn’t good in combat? That he was much better at recon? And taking mini-vacations? Why did anyone even bother with him at this point? Being the local disappointment really wasn’t that much of an issue for him, and the sooner he proved he was useless the better.
The orders to go out into the field had been a serious bummer, but after reading hat he was meant to engage in combat Demyx couldn’t help but wonder if there had been some mix-up. Sure, he could fight--he was even pretty good at it when he felt up to it. But he never actually felt like fighting, so what was the point? There had to be someone better suited for the task...
Like a certain redhead that seemed to have watched everything go down.
“Axel!” Not the ideal person to run across, but better than someone like Larxene. Just thinking about talking to her gave him the chills. “Can you believe this? I mean, they know I’m no good at fighting, so why send me out there? C’mon, man--you gotta help me out! Seriously, I’ll owe you!” And then conveniently never be around when it came time to pay his debts.
