THE STORY OF US Part1
Hey everyone! It's been a while since I wrote something personal with my tumblr. I've been battling it in my head if I should share this tragic experience that I have encountered.
I got my heart broken. Yes, I know I'm a drama queen. Like everybody gets their heart broken, nothing's new. But it's been what? 5 months already and wounds are still pretty fresh. I thought for a while I was doing better that I can go and be happy single and don't give a damn about that jerk. Apparently I'm still affected by just the smallest details, smallest strings that are connecting us.
I'm pretty positive about life don't get me wrong. I'm still pretty jolly at work and my outlook in life but there's just things you gotta get out of your head because you've just reached that breaking point you know. :( So yeah, this is the story of me and my almost lover..
US? It all started with him. He had this "feelings" for me before I did. I never got to notice him only until he said it to me face to face. Wait, rewind rewind. Let's start from how we met.
I met him as a co-trainee in the hospital I am now working in. He was the president of our whole batch. March 2012, wallflower I was. I liked it that way. I was just one of the boys, the girl who goes with the flow. I had a boyfriend back then, my feeling towards him was on the rocks. Well, my batch mates/ co-trainees knew that. But I was still struggling to bring back what could be mended so my 6 year relationship didn't end there yet. I had a crush in our batch there too. Eye candy, promise nothing too serious. Just infatuation. And Mr. President knew that. I remember he was one of those people giving me that meaningful smiles whenever I just had this high school moments towards my crush. Who would have know I could get more serious than that towards him?
3 month after training, our batch decided to go for an outing. We went to Canyon Cove, a beach resort in Batangas. That night we did a lot of crazy stuff, I don't really need to elaborate. Just trust me when I say it was pretty cray cray for a wall flower like me. So yeah, our batch grew closer. And fortunately, someone noticed me and I wasn't a wallflower anymore. Mr. President had a crush on me. This I didn't get to know until he said his feelings to me so don't get excited. I noticed more attention towards me from him but I never tried to put meaning. I figured, it was just the alcohol.
So yeah, after our outing we got employed to the hospital. It was the first nursing job for most of us so we were all dead serious for the first 2 months I guess. Adjusting to being a staff and getting all the responsibilities in the wards. Mr. President and I were in the same area by the way. And by then, our so called "batch mate" relationship became "close friends" because we shared same experiences and our personalities just clicked with each other.
My crush in our batch didn't matter anymore. I just didn't get that "kilig"/ high school puppy love feeling anymore. I told you it was infatuation! My relationship with my boyfriend back then was getting batter I have to admit. Our efforts to save it happened to extend it for another 4 months or so. I never thought of breaking up with him just yet. We were becoming happy again. So the closeness I had with Mr. President was just something to be cherished. I had a good boy best bud I could count on. That was all it was, even though our closeness was pretty obvious and our colleagues started to tease us because of it. Little did I know he was just stopping himself from telling his feelings because I had a boyfriend.
Let me continue our love story tomorrow. But yeah, this is our story so far..
