@giantpandadub poster by me! Truly honored to create art for my favorite band! -Inside The Bamboo- 7 pieces of paper and glue. Handmade 9 x 11” I worked with Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad for almost 15 years doing PR, social media, and living up! This band is my family and I’m proud to have devoted much of my adult life to their music and journey. I quit my full-time music industry job back in September 2017. I needed a hard reset and unplugging seemed the only way to evolve. I started Collage The World @collagetheworld in March 2017 (right after seeing Giant Panda at Wynwood in Miami), but it wasn’t until 2018 that I really started cutting and pasting with a peaceful fury. Making art with my hands has been a powerful catalyst and allowed me to find myself and grow in ways I could not have done otherwise. I’ve been eager to use my art with music, and it has finally happened! Intertwined with all of this is Panda’s drummer @chasetheart. Chris has an incredible passion for art and has played a major role in my appreciation and love of visual goodness over the years. Thanks @reid_sauce for adding text to the poster! I’m grateful for your friendship and for giving me a chance to get away from MySpace, and to pick up some scissors and glue! Roots To Branches Tour After realizing I was going to be out of town for the DC show, a road trip to catch the PA and NJ shows was a must. My love affair with Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad began over 15 years ago. Through life’s ups and downs these musicians and their music have always stood strong. I spent 4 nights in Rochester, NY around July 4 and saw @giantpandadub and @mattobriangreatblueherons in front of thousands of people, in front of 5-10 people, and in front of no one other than myself and @sparechangetv. Jamaica Song was inspired by a 2007 trip to JA where we met The Jamaican Cowboy and jammed & explored for 3 weeks under the guidance of brother @davebernis.
