Do you think Gideon is happy?

“I- I don’t” She started answered, frowning as her lips moved without permission as her eyes flickered from her tea to the paper. “No-Yes. I don’t want to answer this.”

I think that he wants to be happy, and he is, sometimes, but he needs to start to put himself first. He took care of Fabian and I for a long time, but I want him to know that I’ll be here for him if he needs it, too. He doesn’t need to be strong all of the time.

“I don’t know, I suppose that depends.” The witch smiled slightly, the idea of another child not as frightening as most would assume for the already mother of five.

“Arthur, Gid, and Fab know that I’d be happy with another, but I also couldn’t ask for more than what I’ve already been blessed with.”
