Pearl stood on the platform, playing a game on her phone...
I've thought for a few years now about a pixel art style game demo of Pearl's boss fight with the Bear, but I'm afraid I just haven't got the time. Maybe having some assets started will inspire me to work on it? Not sure if there is actually an audience for something like this but that's never stopped me from making a thing before lmao
#ghost quartet#dave malloy#pearl white#gq bear#pixel art#pearl design was partly inspired by those photos from gq aus plus some gelsey plus the color palette i ended up with#i originally had grand ideas of animating this but that quickly got out of hand and I realized how many frames i actually wanted smh#like. if i'm gonna make all those sprites anyway i may as well bang out some code too. we shall see we shall see#i still need to finish cleaning up the code for my aro jam game so that we can add more of the mechanics we wanted but#i ended up breaking one thing so that i could fix another and submit in time. turns out this may not have been the best decision#whoops
