yes, they do have transformation sequences! although they arent the most conventional sort... said transformation sequences are somewhat... inconvenient, and (aside from minds,) not the fastest. dont they have it rough!

lets start with hearts: a deluge of blood.

while initially messy, the blood dissipates with time. it doesnt stain, thankfully! he has to hold his breath, or else he might choke, something he discovered early on. in the case of choking... he would be fine. the blood doesnt stay, and their magical forms are tough.

minds is the most painful - struck by lightning.

the pain also dissipates. eventually. he, understandably, doesnt particularly enjoy transforming, and as a result has a tendency to sleep in his magical girl form. occasionally he fights as his regular self, but that often causes more issues than it solves...

for soul, he gets wrapped in rope.

the rope comes from... somewhere! and once it falls away, it goes... somewhere else! it can be a claustrophobic experience, but soul doesnt really feel the pressure. you get used to these things when youve done it a thousand times.

HONESTLY i'm not too involved in dr stuff but it's like. there's just so much spamtenna that it's getting mildly annoying to me, and it does become a weird game of woobification. if ur gonna ship them they should be so so awful imo

and yeah mettatenna fucking sweeps. like. c'mon. the objectum potential w/ mettaton and tenna... come ON!!!!!!!!!

okay so. ik moonjumper is the fandom's golden child and i am not knocking them for it necessarily but i'm rather indifferent to moonjumper? least 'canon-wise.' idk. the character doesn't do much for me and i'm not really a fan of the canon design per say. and i don't have a strong attachment to his role from the original concept either. i tend to enjoy fan reworks of the character+story but sometimes i feel like it's really weird how oversaturated a non-canon character is in fan content to canon characters. but again it's probably just an appeal that doesn't necessarily apply to me. BUT! fan reworks definitely do the character best imo because i don't feel anything strongly towards the cut character as it was. the one thing that i do fuck with tho is anything that deals with celestial bodies like the moon, as it fleshes out a location within the game to have more importance. the puppet strings thing was kinda cool too. i do like some of the fanart of the character and fan designs though :)
