usually it takes something like 16-19 times to taste something new until you get used to it. (I learned to drink coffee when I was at summer camp and didnt sleep that much so I started to drink coffee to keep me awake)
that's the other weird thing. i try to stay away from caffeine (it mostly makes it hard to get to sleep at night, no matter how early i drink it), so i mostly do decaf. guess it's good practice in case i need to drink the stuff to stay awake! but also the bitter is good to complement the sweetness of how much sugar i put in ^^

when I realized basic filter coffee is usually the cheapest drink I basically stopped having anything else. Usually coffee shops allow a free extra cup and you can try to disguise the coffee-taste with sugar and milk. More reasons to spend time there
sounds like a good idea. i'm buying a single-drip cone thingy so i can try to make it at home (also got some caramel syrup to mask the taste). fingers crossed!
