Why: South African brands Grade Africa and Grasshoppers come together on a pair of footwear inspired by the school shoes that make up part of the uniform of local students. The collaboration serves as a reminder of the strong heritage background both brands have within South African culture through their joint creation of jobs for local craftsmen.
Future: Zaid Osman (Founder of Grade Africa) seeks to look out and collaborate with more brands and creative around the country and also the continent, and continue telling our African stories on a global level!
