Andorra: My National Flower is the Grandalla.
It is also known as the poet’s narcissus (narcissus poeticus) or the pheasant’s eye.
The 6 petals represent the 6 parishes (districts) of my home, and the two colored crowns in the center represent my two co-princes (Bishop of Urgell and French President).

Grandalla are very commonly associated with death, and as such it is believed that if you give a person a single Grandalla, then you are wishing misfortune and death upon them.
If you give them 2 or more, then you are wishing them a long life of fortune and prosperity.
Silent Killer
Did you know that the Grandalla is highly poisonous?
The smell is so strong it can make you nauseous. (so keep them in a well ventilated area) If accidentally ingested and you do not seek medical help, the Grandalla will kill you in such a way that it appears like a flu.
You’ll get a high fever, vomiting, weakness, and such an intense fatigue that you eventually die in your sleep.
Many centuries ago, it was believed that the Grandalla was used to secretly poison royalty by mixing the flower in a special soup or wine that would mask off the Grandalla’s flavor. (So basically they would die without ever even knowing they were poisoned.)
