deep teddy scares lore under the cut
ok so in my last post i mentioned how i personally believe granger and annabelle are implied to be connected. ill go over that now since i think it’s kinda interesting, even if it wasn’t intentional on applehead’s part.
my biggest reason for believing so is because of a major part of granger’s bio:
(i had to go through the wayback machine to find this + the other bear bios cause the site is down as of now)
as you can see, a huge part of his character comes from not being able to save the bear from the incinerator, and trying to repent for it. now, thanks to sheldon’s bio, we know spirits arent exactly uncommon..
but who do we know whose backstory has them being destroyed in the incinerator and interacting with other bears?

given how much of a coincidence these backstories are, i wouldn’t call it a long shot to say annabelle is the bear granger tried and failed to save. if it’s intentional, kudos to applehead for trying to expand the lore!
