Mixed Media Crafting

So I pulled out some mixed media crafting supplies today and played around with this mini scrapbook page to create a little mix media project.

I started with the Laser Cut 5 Page Mini Album Square 6×6 inches  and a piece of Graphic 45 Princess double sided paper.

Using some liquid matte adhesive, I adhered the paper to the mini album page.

Lots of items layered on the front cover to begin the fun!

Pockets on the right and left pages.

I added lots of ephemera and gears throughout the project.

I fussy cut images from the G45 papers to show in the background as some neat graphics were getting covered up.

Lots of fun pockets and removable elements.

Flip open flaps on both pages.

I added some G45 mini-envelopes throughout.

Dual flaps left and pocket on right.

Lots of layering to show off the amazing G45 design elements and paper.

Flap and tag pocket.

Back cover layering for some added depth.

Club 45 Volume 8- Featuring Tropical Travelogue

*Important changes we made: 

Pg. 2, Step #3 “Covering the outside of the box: Cut a sheet of Garden Isle as follows: 8 3/8″ x 3 1/4″… (necessary for the lid to shut easily).

Pg. 2, Step #5 “… Rotate lengthwise and score at 1/2″, 1”, 7 3/8″ and 7 7/8″… (necessary for the lid to shut easily).

My talented wife Nanci created this one-of-a-kind based on an Etsy customer requests only to find out it was for a friend at a church we attended prior to moving years ago – small world!

When Nanci presented it to her, she broke out in tears of joy and thankfulness…and that is what creating something for someone is truly all about.
