Never. Not even to his friends he’s got an issue with keeping everything inside because u know... he poured his whole heart into someone and then got betrayed so that’s uhh canceled for him now ://

Tbh.... unless it’s a publicity thing his fam sets up he’s just kinda... doing his thing.... taking photos....

Not currently but a relationship that’s not real sure is about to go public by accident. It’s a mess.

Hisaya got his big break mostly because of his family’s name, but otherwise he is a good photographer. Nonetheless he still has privileges and perks over others who don’t have the connections he does and he doesn’t necessarily mind using them.

It used to be his girlfriend but that didn’t work out too hot so now he’s flying solo and convinced he’s not lonely and is better off alone!! But he can’t even say he adores himself because said girlfriend accused him of not showing his emotions so now he’s doing expression exercises in the mirror :///

Uhhh I have no idea but it was when he’d just come to the US and his family introduced their adopted charity case to the public. If I knew more events I’d be able to give specifics but alas...

plot twist Hisaya wasn’t made an orphan from the tsunami, he was already there, but we don’t talk about that

Hisaya literally bought a camera and found he was decent at it and with his name, he was able to gain access to a lot of resources to actually pursue it. He thinks he basically fell into his career honestly, but he’s put forth an effort to improve since then.
WHY
[016] do they put up with all of the bs that comes with the business
Honestly he tries to minimize the bs because he can’t really avoid it when he’s part of a celeb family, so he does enough that no one will comment on how unimpressive he is, but not so much that he’s getting into the tabloids left and right. He’s just trying to live his life, basically
[017] did they pursue the career they’re currently in
Literally just because he’s good at it. He’d rather be an author, but his plots are too simply and predictable, nothing new or innovative, and he’s bad at taking criticism. He’s not about to do something stupid like chase his dream even when it means being ripped apart by the public though.

Hisaya can do some Survival Pleasantry but his current media personality is Generic Decent Guy. Again, anything that doesn’t make him noticeable.

Gossip is just cheap entertainment that comes from breaching privacy. Hisaya is stressed enough trying to stay out of it that he can’t find anything appealing about indulging in it. He does have a policy to ignore gossip until he can confirm things himself.
[020] would they ever make a sex tape
If his partner for some reason had that kind of interest, he’d do it because if it’s someone he’s dating he trusts them and also wants to be open to their interests even if it makes him kind of uncomfortable. He’d at least try it once for their sake. He wouldn’t consider that they’d use it against him in the future.
WHERE

A car.... probably. He doesn’t listen to radios that often, but it was probably on the ride back from the airport when he first came to the US.

Probably his... house??? Over the phone.

I don’t think Hisaya went on vacation....
[024] do they live when they want to get away from it all
Hisaya lives in some apartment away from his family’s house, and it’s pretty normal/secluded enough in his opinion.

Honestly.... I have no idea my guys Hisaya doesn’t do press conference nowadays and he was a kid when it was his first one. His parents dragged him along to them to get his face out there.
WAS THEIR FIRST

If you count his first commercial project, which his parents set up, then yes. Absolutely. His first book was pretty bad too, just because his writing’s not great. His first photoshoot was... okay, relatively.
[027] talk show appearance a wreck
He didn’t actually talk his first talk show appearance since he was a kid, so in a way it was a wreck.
[028] public relationship heavily followed
Decently so. He dated one of his models and the photographer dating a model is ripe for gossip. It was fairly well known, but with little drama that the cameras could catch. The breakup was personal and undisclosed to the public. There was a lot of speculations about why though.
[029] fan encounter awkward / nice / sweet / etc.
Hisaya was more embarrassed than the fan because he didn’t know he had fans. It was pretty awkward, but it wasn’t a bad experience overall.

Oh yes definitely, though he took lengths to make sure it wasn’t torn to pieces by gossip.
WILL

Probably not. That’s not really where Hisaya’s ambitions lead him. He just wants to be happy and content doing what he likes.

Ideally his photography can get him one, but as long as his life isn’t difficult he doesn’t need that kind of recognition.

He hopes not. He’s not MC or host material at all.

If he feels a certain passion for a photoshoot, and has a personal attachment to it, he would be willing to put in that much effort. But that kind of giant project he doesn’t do often, and nor does he consider doing one soon.

Hisaya tries his best to not be recognizable, but if especial fans of his find him he doesn’t mind taking a picture with them.
DOES YOUR CHARACTER
[036] invest their money wisely
It’s more like he doesn’t invest money often. Hisaya buys nice clothes, some other luxuries that make living easier, but he’s not an extravagant spender.

Hisaya isn’t terribly picky about his photography projects, but if he doesn’t like the director he will refuse to work with them. It’s more about the people conducting the shoot than anything.
[038] care more about the fame than anything
Nope. Hisaya both likes and dislikes fame, since he’s trying to make it work in moderation considering he doesn’t have a choice in the matter. He won’t deny there’s perks he’d be sad to give up, but he wouldn’t cling to his fame relentlessly.

All the time. Hisaya is shit at talking and it progressively gets worse when he’s flustered. He’s better at explaining his thoughts in writing, because verbally he’s just a mess when he’s not being scripted for a public appearance.

Absolutely. Anything that would be gossip-worthy he’s paranoid about becoming public, because he doesn’t want that kind of attention. He’s under enough pressure just trying to avoid it, living the lowkey life as he is, so the stress from actually bearing his life choices to the public would definitely be too much for him and he knows it. He spent the last few months hermiting, for example. He knows it was stupid, but he doesn’t need the whole world telling him that.
DO YOU HONESTLY THINK YOUR CHARACTER
[041] is a good person
Hisaya is a decent person that isn’t necessarily good samaritan good. He cares a lot about what others think, and that influences him too much at times. But his heart is generally in the right place, even if he doesn’t have the conviction to be doing all that he can.
[042] will have career longevity
I think he can probably let his photography carry him through his life. He has enough drive for it as well as skill to make it last. He does need to decide whether he’s actually happy doing photography or not though, since from the beginning he’s always put most of his heart into his writing.
[043] deserves the career they have
Hisaya could have worked harder for what he has. He does deserve where he is now, since he’s very perfectionist about his work and puts forth the effort to produce his very best, but he also had many advantages that allowed him to get here.
[044] can remain unjaded by hollywood
Nah he’s already got a negative view of fame, and he doesn’t consider Hollywood to be that great rather than a giant industry evil that’s not going away any time soon.

If he ever marries anyone, it’d be after a long long time and a lot of build up, so yeah. I think the foundation that would develop before marriage would be hard to break.

Hisaya’s pretty skeptical about anyone in regards to dating, but he’s not really concerned about whether they’re a fan or not so sure. If it worked out that way.

Absolutely not Hisaya would never be able to last.

Yeah, although it’s more questionable whether he takes that initiative on his own before it being suggested to him. He’s not seeking out places to donate to, truthfully.

Depending on who he’s talking to, he doesn’t mind letting his friends know how he feels about fame. To people like the press or his family, he’ll watch his answers more closely. He doesn’t want his family to feel bad for bringing him into this life, and he doesn’t need the press weaving that kind of story either if he speaks out of line.

He probably wouldn’t be recognized at comic con so sure. The question is whether he’d want to go to something like comic con.
