Grass Dancers at the Lumbee Tribe Homecoming on July 2nd, 2016. Before a dance could be held on the prairie the grass had to be stomped down. This is where many of the movements are believed to come from. 

The Grass dance is a style of modern Native American men's powwow dancing originating in the warrior societies on the Northern Great Plains.

And I'm starting to get really sad because I'm beginning to realize that I'll be leaving both Akanni and Isabella in just a couple days. It's crazy to think that before this summer I wasn't close with him and I barely even knew her and look! Now they're my everything. It's going to really hard saying goodbye. I can't stop thinking of all the wonderful times we had whether it was the three of us or just two. I wouldn't change a single thing. I know I've learned from them and I hope they learned from me. and i just love them both so very very very much

I adore Isabella. Quite a bit actually. I don't know how I went as long as I did not knowing of her existence. And I think the girl is wonderful. If that word could even begin to describe her.
