Mini Update

Preface: I wish I blogged more. I also wish I was better at self-peer-pressure.

Broken record alert - K-Rino has uber dominated my listening time lately. Got a couple more of his albums, "Book Number 7" and [his most recent, 2012 release] "Deeper Elevation". Both are right on par with the rest.

He's jumped up to #13 all-time Last.fm, which is kind of wicked/crazy. I can't recommend K-Rino enough. Sick rapper.

I also picked up the new Municipal Waste album, "The Fatal Feast". I really like it. I think it's about on par with the rest of their material. I'd say if you liked their other albums, chances are you will feel the same about this one. Then again, I get the impression that people think that "Massive Aggressive" was subpar, and I don't agree with that sentiment (see "Wolves of Chernobyl") - so perhaps take my opinion of the new record with a grain of salt.

I also picked up the debut album for rap duo Grave Plott, "The Plott Thickens".

Aside: I buy way too much music.

Aside Pt. II: Wow, I've really been into rap lately.

Ok album. Nothing super awesome, but a few cool tracks here and there. They're signed to Tech N9ne's label, Stange Music, who [I realized] signed Brotha Lynch Hung recently. Solid roster.
