POV i put you in the soup
Saw that the Last Naruto movie was dubbed so I’m watching that again for some reason???? And all the complains I’ve had in my first viewing when it came out are all still there.
Like, Hinata and Hinabi being kidnapped (well almost kidnapped in Hinata’s case) so effortlessly??? Big ol’ bullshit. The Hyuga girls who’ve been conditioned to fight (brutally and efficiently) close quarters since they were small children??? Not only that but no matter how little confidence she has socially, she’s a competent shinobi. Ain’t no boogie man is just gonna sneak up on her with having absolutely no reaction. Girl is strong af and her little sister is just so.
And when Hinata is falling down the building??? What??? Suddenly all those wall wakin’ skills that were there from the beginning of the series don’t apply to her anymore????
I don’t remember a damn thing about this movie and I’m only, like 20 min in my rewatch but already it seems to just be the broke trope of tough, very capable of taking care of herself, girl is suddenly helpless and in need of a man’s help. . .
possibly more complaints to follow
I’m actually really happy about fat Anko, she’s so cute!!! It’s nice to see that she’s heavier than she was before.
I love the same thing about Deku’s mom. It’s nice to see some heavier women in anime without them being the bud of a joke.
Uuuuuhhhhh Shikadai is the only character in Broruto that matters to me so far.

there's something so odd about tumblr marketing an ad free subscription. The ads are part of the tumblr experience, are they not?
Is it bad that all my poetry has the same rhyme patterns and rhythm to it but the meanings are very different?
