and you know what’s even worse is that even “white” people are drawn stark white 90% of the time and poc’s are lightly colored unless black. i wish various shades of “color” and “whiteness” were seen.

AMEN. I mean you look at some artists and every single face their draw is EXACTLY THE SAME. White people look different too! We have different skintones. Some of us are liquid paper white and some of us are pretty darn tan. It's just laziness on the part of everyone. Or some people have more of a cool tone than a warm tone, you know? There's a lot of complexity to skin color.
