only an idiot would attempt to understand a religion from a fictional television show. and its not a mockery.. its no more a mockery than every other show out there.
I based this off of a post that someone had made where it went "how do you know so much about Christianity" (it was possibly religion IDR exactly) and they posted the supernatural title picture. The point is that it takes a religions holy text and other beliefs and those people and spiritual beings mentioned within and inserts them in roles or makes them do things that are not how they actually are. Angels aren't gay and based on how people reacted to seeing them they were probably pretty scary to encounter otherwise the shepherds in the fields would probably not be said to have been afraid.
