Lila stood outside of the Toretto house, yet again, a brown paper bag clutched in her hand, knocking on the door, waiting for Grayson to answer. She hadn’t actually seen him since the night he made her go to the ER. But she’d texted.

Lila had let Grayson take her home. Where she ran into her mother, and heard for the better part of two hours how she was wrong, and awful and how she was going to ruin her life until finally Lila grabbed her bag and left, she called an uber and headed for her brother’s house, letting herself in. “Tell Simon to put his goddamn pants on.” She snapped, heading for her brother’s room.
