The storm that is departing the northeast this morning will continue to produce snow showers across the eastern Great Lakes, western Pennsylvania, and up through the northeastern part of the country today. These snow showers are not expected to accumulate much snow, with only a coating to an inch in some areas. However, areas near the lakes may see a few inches of snow. Overall, the weather behind the storm will be windy and cold. The next storm system is currently organizing in the western states and is forecasted to bring four to eight inches of snow across Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, and Idaho today. Heavier snowfall is expected to move into the central plains, impacting parts of Kansas and Nebraska tonight into tomorrow. This snow will then streak across the Midwest, affecting Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and western Pennsylvania throughout tomorrow and into tomorrow night. In some areas, the snow may mix with rain, resulting in little to no accumulation of snow. #WinterWeather #SnowShowers #NortheastStorm #GreatLakesSnow #ColdWeather #WindyConditions #SnowAccumulation #StormSystem #MidwestSnow #WeatherUpdate #SnowForecast #WinterIsHere ❄️🌨️
