Thirsty Mcgurk, a Brooklyn-bred rap artist who had been quietly culminating his rap prowess for the better part of the past few years. Since he was 12 years old, he imagined that he WOULD Dedicate his life to it’s progression. Thirsty McGurk, an avid Hip-Hop lover, started his humble beginnings in hip-hop in junior high, trying to out rhyme his fellow school mates, while getting his peers attention. This was where he fed the fires of his passion to be great. He would race home after school to his grandmothers Brooklyn dwellings just to watch Rap city on BET. I would try to beat my grandmother home daily cause she would find the music too loud & aggressive "Love you grandma". Being a lover of classical music and the Motown Era. The daily exposure would only solidify his already strong aspirations for his music. He began recording in his cousin’s home studio, located in Flatbush Brooklyn. Soon after he gained notoriety locally and even traveled back and forth to Toronto Canada and Philly, collaborating with emerging artists and performing in any outlet allowing him to showcase his talents. After enduring some personal losses he decided on what would be a brief hiatus quickly & abruptly end with the birth of his child. He looked into her eyes and feels as though he can accomplish anything and to her he is a Champion, so he tries his best not to shatter that image. In spirit of that promise, he builds a multitude of brands in shape of No argument entertainment, SpaceFoodAnimation & apparel, The Great Mindz, and many more ventures to come. #Every empire needs a foundation!
