Our government isn’t responsive to what Americans want or need or think. ALEC (American Legislative Exchange Council more on that later) Christian Fascists (Heritage Foundation) and other right wing-nut “conservatives” are spreading hate, racism, bigotry and demonization of hundreds of millions of Americans. Notice in the chart that Industry and Conservative are the top two categories - pushed by Republicans since they don’t have time to work on legislation because they’re so busy with fact-free culture wars and slashing budgets for programs that help the poor and elderly.
