Admiral Genderbends since I wanted to draw them but wasn’t interested in drawing men atm
I got bored and decided to put the heights of the marines (imo the important ones) into a height generator, so I just want to put here what I found for fun :)
- Hibari is the shortest marine out of all of them, Koby being the shortest male (short king and queen 💪)
- Ryokugyu is the tallest admiral, also making him the tallest marine
- Fujitora is the shortest admiral by quite a bit, I thought he would be around the same height as Kuzan at least
□ Probably a coincidence of some sort, but I find it a little funny that the two new admirals are either the tallest or shortest out of them
- Tsuru is the tallest female marine
---
These heights also made me realize how crazy some of them are...is being above 6' or 7' that common in the one piece world???
Like imagine your dad being twice as tall as you do you realize how scary that is
Seriously
This was a process lol
I’m still in the Wano arc-
I have had an ongoing analysis of the way Oda writes battles and enemies since around Skypeia, and now that I’ve finally caught up with the anime I’m yet again reminded of this dichotomy. Oda has two kinds of villains in terms of the way they can be defeated. Type 1, let’s call this “Unstoppable Object Type”, are villains who are seemingly untouchable for much of the conflict until their weakness is discovered where the path to defeating them seems clear. Type 2, lets call this “Immovable Force Type”, are villains that are incredibly easy to wound or damage but are difficult to defeat because they continue to get up despite everything.
Here are the villains of One Piece sorted into these two groups to the best of my ability:
Unstoppable Object Type:
Buggy, Captain Kuro, Don Krieg, Crocodile, Enel, Foxy (yes), Gecko Moriah, Caesar, Doflamingo, and King
2. Immovable Force Type:
Arlong, CP9, Hordy Jones, Big Mom + Crew, Kaido + Crew, and the Five Elders.
I have discovered a third and fourth group, but unfortunately they cant be given very cool names. these are “The Guys Who Just Get Whooped” and “Yet To Be Beaten”:
3. The Guys Who Just Get Whooped:
Alvida, Axe Hand Morgan, Jack the Drought, and Greenbull (no disrespect)
4. Yet To Be Beaten:
Smoker, Blackbeard, Magellan, Aokiji, Kizaru, Akainu, Sengoku, Fujitora, and Shanks
Its not as neat as it could be, but the dichotomy applies to basically all of the arc-defining villains except for Ronance Dawn, Loguetown, Sabaody, Impel Down/Marineford, and Zou.
I haven't posted here in a while, sorry sorry!! ~
I'm getting bombarded by interactions on other sites, and my personal life ain't any less chaotic, I sincerely apologize (𖦹ᯅ𖦹)
I can't keep compensating this neglect with art.. but for now, can you accept this small apology? <:P
Game Night.
This is, in fact, seconds from all out war.
Akainu is upset he's losing to everyone.
Kizaru is just doing what he has to complete his mission.
Fujitora is enjoying his gambling high.
And Aokiji is about to get pimp slapped by kizaru because "cheating is wrong". This will be the inciting event for the inevitable destruction of the admiral lounge.
O, greenboy is also there too.
